''I have a dream, a song to sing". Yeah I have many songs to sing and I do believe in angels too!! They are here, there, everywhere: you just need a heart to feel their presence. People have angels in their lives, a sun, who guide them, look after them and basically care for them. Sometimes we dont even know they are there. its just like those fairy tales where you have fairy godmothers, Father Christmas and the like.
The thing with angels in real life is that they dont have wings, they dont carry wands. They simply stay with you, sometimes unappreciated, sometimes neglected. But they still love you, unconditionally.
We remember our angels only when we are in need of them. We remember them when we want to shoulder to cry, when we want our shoulders unburdened. A single mistake and we forget every single good thing they did for us. Gratitude, respect, love- Poof! Vanished in thin air! This is the time when we need an evil fairy to make us fall in a deep sleep and no Prince Charming to wake us up with a kiss. Uh-uh! No missy, we dont deserve that!
I have angels (yup! truckloads of them!!) too. And this is a piece to remind all of us to appreciate our angels and lending our ears to them wont hurt, given the fact that they have done so much for us: giving their days and nights, putting our interests in front of others, giving up on their wishes for ours. Giving a few hours of our lives should be a no biggie.
Maybe we too are angels to some as well. There's a sunshine in our lives too. Someone who is the center of our world. Our angels should be our inspiration to spread cheer all around, love unconditionally and give selflessly. Yes! We too can be angels without wings!! Just dont forget to care for your own angels. They might not have wings but they are no less fragile.
